Heavy Equipment Operator Training Courses Offered by Wajax:
Most Wajax heavy equipment training courses are available on-site or at your local Wajax branch – ask about weekend or after-hours sessions. Train-the-trainer, overhead crane safety, scissor lift truck training, forklift license training and technical training courses also available. Training meets or exceeds the CSA Standards and Ministry of Labour requirements and guidelines. Classes currently offered* include:
- Forklift Training / Forklift Certification (ITA Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7)
- Aerial Work Platform & Fall Arrest Training (Scissor Lift and Boom Lift Truck Training)
- Indoor Overhead Crane Training and Safe Rigging Basics Training
- Mobile Crane Training (Articulating, Straight, Bucket Lift and Derrick Digger)

Trainees who successfully complete any Wajax heavy equipment operator training programs will receive one wallet size certification or license card. New operators will also receive one wall-size certificate. Class time requirements range from a half-day (depending on the training program), to two days. Due to the amount of time involved to train hands-on with some students, the time can be restricted. There are no minimum class sizes, only a minimum charge per half-day or full day. Maximum class size is usually 10 to 12 depending on if there is a practical element involved in the training.
